Darija Dictionary is a project of the International Arabic School, the first digital academy specialized in teaching Arabic, and the first to launch an online dictionary of Moroccan Darija.

This dictionary was created in response to real needs we identified in our Moroccan Darija courses—based on the questions and challenges our students face, as well as our experience as teachers at the International Arabic School.

The team behind Darija Dictionary

We are Adam and Micail, the creators of Darija Dictionary.

In addition to being bilingual in Darija and Spanish, we hold degrees in Arabic Philology from the University of Granada, which gives us a deep understanding of how both languages work.

Besides Arabic and Spanish, we can also communicate in English, French, Portuguese, and Italian.
